The film is installed on the inside of the glass using application solution. The pressure-sensitive adhesive bonds as the solution is pushed out with the installation squeegee.

Five shades – from subtle to very dark
Tint level describes how dark the film appears. Visible light transmission (VLT) shows the percentage of visible light that passes through the film.

Performance values are provided by Solar Gard and measured on 3 mm clear glass. The final result may vary depending on the vehicle glass’s existing tint and properties. Always check the regulations that apply to tinting the vehicle’s different windows.
INSTALLATION ON CURVED WINDOWS
Watch how a rear window is heat-formed
Galaxie can be installed on both flat and curved vehicle glass. On clearly curved windows, the film must be heat-formed to follow the glass without creases or lines around the outer edges.
The primary shaping is normally carried out on the outside of the glass before the film is installed on the inside. Minor adjustments can also be made once the film is in place.
