Protects exposed lights

The 0.2 mm film helps protect against stone chips, road salt, dirt and abrasion from the road surface.

99% UV protection

The UV protection helps preserve the surface of the light lens and the appearance of the film during normal use.

Glossier appearance

The high-gloss surface gives the lights a cleaner, better-maintained appearance after correct installation.

Mouldable and easy to handle

The film is shaped over curved light surfaces with a heat gun and is partially self-healing when heated carefully.

Measure the lights before ordering

The size and shape of the lights vary between vehicles. Measure your headlights at their widest and tallest points, add a reasonable installation margin all around, and order the film size accordingly.

CAREFULLY DESIGNED CONSTRUCTION

Three layers for easier installation

ProShield® consists of three layers: a protective liner over the adhesive side, the protective film itself and a removable scratch-protective top layer. This construction reduces the risk of dirt and scratches while the film is being handled and installed.

LAYER 1

Protective liner over the adhesive side

The lower protective liner is removed before installation. The adhesive side of the film is then placed against the thoroughly cleaned light surface.

LAYER 2

The protective film itself

The 0.2 mm ProShield® layer provides impact absorption, protection and the final high-gloss surface.

LAYER 3

Scratch-protective top layer

The top layer protects against installation scratches. Leave it in place for most of the work and peel it off when the installation is nearly complete.

10 QUICK FACTS

Protection, styling and flexible installation

1. Impact-absorbing film
Helps absorb minor impacts and stresses caused by normal driving.

2. 99% UV protection
Protects against a large proportion of harmful UV radiation.

3. Six different options
Choose from Clear/Transparent, Smoke, Dark Smoke+, Yellow, Blue and Devil Red.

4. Shaped with a heat gun
On curved areas, shape the film with a heat gun at approximately 100 °C.

5. Effective surface protection
Helps prevent damage from stone chips, road salt, dirt and abrasion.

6. Flexible adhesive system
The adhesive can help visually smooth minor imperfections and light abrasion on worn light surfaces.

7. Wet or dry installation
Can be installed with application fluid, a squeegee and a knife, or dry-installed when the surface and shape allow it.

8. High-gloss and partially self-healing
Minor surface marks in the film may be reduced by careful heating. Peel off the scratch-protective layer when the installation is nearly complete.

9. For more surfaces
Can also be used on rear lights and other suitable, smooth and exposed surfaces.

10. Adapted to the light
Order a sufficient size, install the film and then trim it to its final shape in place.

CHOOSE THE LOOK

Six options – from clear protection to distinctive styling

Choose transparent protection or give the lights a more individual tone. The final appearance and light transmission are affected by the film option, the light's base colour and the construction of the light.

Clear/Transparent

Clear, high-gloss protection that preserves the light's original appearance.

Smoke

A smoke-tinted option for a discreetly darker and more uniform appearance.

Dark Smoke+

The darker smoke-tinted option for a more distinctive styling effect.

Yellow

A yellow tint that creates a classic and expressive appearance.

Blue

A blue tint for a cooler and more individual look.

Devil Red

A red tint for bold, sportier styling.

STRAIGHTFORWARD INSTALLATION

Installed with fluid, squeegee and knife

Clean the light very thoroughly. For wet installation, moisten the surface and the adhesive side of the film with application fluid. Position the film and press out the fluid with an application squeegee.

Dry installation can be used on suitable surfaces, but it provides less opportunity to reposition the film once the adhesive has bonded.

CONTROLLED FORMING

Shape curved areas with a heat gun

Gradually heat the film with a heat gun to approximately 100 °C and shape it over the curved areas of the light. Keep the heat gun moving and avoid overheating the film or the light.

Once the film lies evenly, trim away the excess. Finish by checking the edges and peeling off the upper scratch-protective layer.
