5" / 127mm round HD-X protective film.

HD-X is an approx. 0.5mm thick transparent protective film that protects your vehicle's headlights from stone chips and damage caused by road debris.
Our innovative design and use of high quality materials ensure that your headlights are well protected and remain in top condition. With stone chip protection, you can be safe in the knowledge that your expensive headlights have optimal protection. The films are available pre-cut for most auxiliary lights, spotlights, ramps and work lights. If you have a specific measurement or wishes, do not hesitate to contact us. The film has very little effect on light flow and light image.

Assembly instructions:
Mix water with a few (3-4 drops) drops of FilmApp per water in a spray bottle.
Clean the lantern and spray the liquid on the lantern and the adhesive side of the protective film.
Place the protective film with the adhesive side facing the lamp.
Spray mounting fluid on the film and press with a scraper from the center outwards towards the edges.
If the lantern is bent/arched, it may be necessary to heat the film with a hot air gun towards the edges to shape the film to the lantern.

Can also be dry mounted without liquid between the film and lamp.
You then press the film with a scraper in small strokes all around from the center out towards the edges.

Dismantling:
Grasp one edge of the protective film and carefully pull off the film.
To avoid glue residue remaining on the lantern, you can heat the film a little before pulling it off

All handling of the film must take place at a temperature of approx. 20-25C for best results.
The film should not be mounted on lanterns where the manufacturer advises against covering the lantern's glass.
If the film is mounted on lamps that emit high heat, the lamps must be switched off when the vehicle is stationary for safety's sake.
